It's Saturday, Heartbeats, and it's been quite a week. I said goodbye to 2025 Black History Month with revelations of self love and my first ever podcast!!
For those of you who don't know, I am know apart of Heartopia Records, LLC as one of the artists on their roster. *applause button* I know what you're thinking: HeartBEATS ----→ HeartOPIA. It's a syncronicity right? I sincerely hope so. I'm excited to work with my new manager and Heartopia CEO, Adrian Miller, and the rest of the absolutely incredible musicians at Heartopia.
The podcast experience at T.A.S.K. was apart of the February Heartopia take over. At first, I panicked, because I realized I'd be on camera. But the outfit was outfitting and the makeup was making up so that wasn't my concern. Here's where the self love revelation came in - I was able to recognize that I still have such a huge fear of being seen. And I shook it off like Mariah said and just let go. And had a ball!
